I don't like much about valentines day, but I do love making valentines. I have memories of making valentines with my siblings when I was a kid. They were always the same, Hearts cut out with a piece of gum taped on and they said "Please 'chews' me for your valentine." These are the valentines Nels and I made for his class this year.

What darling valentines!! The fact that you made them from scratch is wonderful. Way to go :)
We feel priviledged that you thought of us and gave us one! They were really cute! It was fun to hang with you guys. Lets do it more often! (Especially if your doing the cooking!)
We always look forward to your Valentines! It's tradition, wouldn't be the same without them! Love you!!
HOW CUTE!! I'm going to put a copy of your Valentine in my file...maybe my class can make them next year...I love Valentine's Day. All about Friends, Love, Caring, and Giving of Your Heart. Pepper, I'm so surprised you don't love Valentine's Day, too. You're such a great Mommy. Hugs to you, Nels, Dash, Liesel, Stefanie, Sarelle, and Zale.
I miss you, Ms Dana.
So cute! I love old fashioned - fold a piece of paper, cut out a heart, handwrite it valentines too. It's what both my boys still do for their classes. They write something different to each kid - something they think that friend is good at or just something nice about them. This year, when he was going through his loot at the end of the day, Nixon said he liked homemade Valentines better and wished more people did them. I was so proud!
I am laughing- wondering what holidays you do like .... how can you not like valentines? Love for all!
I love homemade valentines and missed making them this year.
