Good old fashioned customer service

I went to Albertsons last night to pick up a couple things for book club. Dashiell and I were in line behind who appeared to be an Albertsons executive. He had an Albertsons name tag on his suit, and the cashier was a little overly nice. He paid for his groceries and asked the bagger if she would go over and blow up a balloon for Dashiell. It had to be blue to match his eyes! This gentleman had noticed that Dash was checking out all the balloons while we walked up. Thats what babies do!

This coupled with the fact that I just received about $100 worth of free sodas and water donated from Albertsons for our production lunch, and the fact that it is the closest grocery store to my house, makes me an Albertsons shopper. I like good old fashioned customer service.

How nice! I tried to find good customer service in the PR, but no such luck. Roth's is always a good store for the good old fashioned customer service, but then their prices are a little higher for it. They are in Oregon. Here, I have no allegiance to any store. I just go wherever. Good to see and hang out with you.

I don't shop there much because they don't double my coupons. So I must say that I pledge my allegiance to Ralphs.

I like that Albertson's by your house Pepper. My only complaint is that I hate not having any carts inside. I never remember to get one when I'm walking in! Remember the big grocery strike? The BEST part of that was that they moved the empty carts inside!

The booming metropolis of Park City has 2 Albertsons, 1 Dan's Foods, 1 Smiths and 1 Wild Oats. The Smiths and Wild Oats are closest to me and where I get things that are not delivered by Winder Farms or from Costco.

Albertson's does have good customer service, so I go there frequently, and even though they won't double my coupons, their prices are good, and I use a lot of dollar coupons anyway, so the doubling part is not applicable. I think Amy and Pepper and I should write a book on How To Be Awesome at Managing Your Money.
